Moberly Lake Elementary requires a .4 TERM Teacher/Teacher Librarian

Description:

Effective February 2, 2021 until June 30, 2021.

This position is for a multi-grade class (.3 FTE)

and

Teacher Librarian (.1 FTE). The successful applicant must meet the District criteria for Teacher Librarian as well as be willing to support students and staff in a collaborative model.

Under the general direction of the Principal, Teacher Librarian will work cooperatively with classroom teachers to plan, teach and assess students in a variety of curriculum areas.  The library will operate as a hub of learning in the school and connect students to both print and digital resources.

The Teacher Librarian will work collaboratively with the classroom teachers’ instructional needs in the development, presentation and enhancement of curriculum and skills through facilitating experiences and projects in various areas.

School District No. 59 (PRS) has a need for substitute teachers at all levels in
Chetwynd. Successful applicants should note that this work is on an on-call basis and is not full-time employment.
